Pied Piper is a Parent-Participation Cooperative
Preschool in Walnut Creek, California. With more than 50
years of experience building family relationships, we
offer a warm, nurturing environment with activities and
hands-on materials designed to meet the social,
emotional and physical needs of all sorts of children.

with our Director, Maureen Straw
(who joined the Pied Piper family
in 1983) and our Assistant
Director/Enrichment Program
Director, Pia Griffin (who started
as a cooperative parent in 1988).
Angela Bradley, our Enrichment
Aide, also joined Pied Piper as a
cooperative parent in 2002.
Pied Piper Preschool provides
developmental programs for
children aged two years and six
months through
pre-kindergarten. We value
